Been Gone Too Long!

Okay its been literally forever since I have posted, so much has been going on. We made it to our beloved New Orleans in March and even Death decided to join us on this adventure. Kiku got moved into a location she loves and it even closer to me!!! Yeah! Then because my life is not crazy enough I decided to go back to school. That's right I'm going to earn my degree by December 09 I'll have my AA in IT.

But does all this change mean Kiku and I have given up on our dream of publishing Fae Dream? OH NO! we are moving ahead I will admit we have take a break but the time to relax is over its back to book.

I have missed writing over the past several months and I'm ready to finish our second book The Vault and dive into the third installment. I can't tell you the name until we finish The Vault.

I have to fade out for now but I will be back soon. I have homework to complete.

Getting Back into the Swing...

It's literally been FOREVER since I last posted. But it finally seems like we are getting back into the swing of things, finding our rhythm again so to speak.

I'm really encouraged by the lastest review of Fae Dreams. It helped relieve my writers block and brought back my creative spark. Much needed indeed! Thanks Bonita!

The Vault has been more than a little slow going, but it is indeed going. But now that my medical issues have been taken care of and Lodemai's good news at home, we are more focused than we have been in a while. I finally see all of the pieces falling into place and the Vault is getting more and more exciting to write.

Faith & Time

You know if you have a strong faith and do what is right you will be blessed. You ask how I know this is true well let me tell you.

My little girl has been without her daddy for 3 years, I have been told over and over to have faith and in time he would get past the dark times in his life and come back to take his place with his little girl.

That day did come; he came to me and let me know how sorry he was for all he said and done to hurt me. He wants more than anything to be a part our little girls life. He calls every day to see how she is doing and just to say how much he loves and misses her.

Time to catch up...

Okay everyone, I know you all are wondering where the hell have Kiku and myself been. Well let me tell you things have been crazy busy. Here is just a list to get you caught up quickly. I'm not even sure where to start...

1. Fae Dreams - my Aunt Bonita has been reading and giving it a once over. The review was not bad and Kiku and myself are very happy with the results.
   
2. So now that it is back we are re-reading the book again for the first time since we completed it. The plan is to start marketing the book again to agent by the end of the month.
3. The Vault is coming along nicely not as fast as we wanted but we have not given up on it.
   
4. Kiku had so medical issues but it looks like she has come thought it with no complications.
5. My little one has changed daycares which is really more traumatic for me than her.
6. Both Kiku and my older kids all into full teenager mode but let me tell you they are great kids. They really don't loss their heads to often.
7. Work is crazy but enough on that.

Well that is the largest part for the moment.
